Galyatető lies at the second highest point of the Mátra Mountains - 957 meters above sea level -, but the highest-lying 4 star hotel in Hungary. It is both a wellness-conference hotel, "experience-hotel" of four seasons, where everything is new, except the fresh air.

 

The hotel has rooms with special features, in some of which we can lie down in front of the fireplace, or can take a bath in the Jacuzzi located in the middle of the bedroom, or can get lost in the wonderful panorama of the Mátra through the window stretching from wall to wall

 

The sports opportunities of the area are endless - in the summer hiking tours in the forest, carriage riding and walks; and in the winter the hotel's own ski course, and getting acquainted with the forest on a horse-drawn sledge provide great experience for everybody

The Hunguest Grandhotel Galya provides a special attention for the children, not only in child-bonuses buti n the services too, therefore our hotel is child and family-friend hotel.

There are comfortable spare-beds int he bigger rooms, although we can provide baby-beds as well.

Child-pool, child-buffet, child and baby gymnastics, child playing-ground also serve the comfort of the future regular guests. While Mum and Dad haven't got enough time, the children can spend their time int he play-room, „Bambi"-nook provides careful control. We also opened X-Box room and the Adventure-park furthermore. Owing to these possibilities the experiences spent in our hotel will be real ones because we look after every family member's recreation.

 

Our hotel's spring novelty-extraordinary in Mátra -Child Adventure-park, which is the newest part of the Grandhotel Galya's colourful services.

Ont he rope-court 3-12 year old children can try 12 diferent kinds of exercises. To complete it only bravery and skillfullness are necessary! (Children can use the court only with safety-equipment and with the help o fan expert.)

For our adult guests forest-sliding rope-court was built, the length o fit is about 50 meters.
