On the top of the Sváb-Hill, on the border of the Nature Protected Area of Buda, still 15 minutes away from Downtown lies the newly modernised four-star Hotel Normafa in a picturesque environment. The familiar atmosphere and the green surroundings of the alpine style hotel provide excellent possibility for recreation.

 

The 46 double rooms and 8 suites and 8 family suites are equipped with streamlined, stylish furniture, telephone, minibar, cable-TV, room safe, coffee and tea making facilities providing our Guests with all comfort. Each room has a wonderful view to the enormous park.

 

 

The Pergola Café - located in the hotel building - with a summer terrace adjoining to the open-air pool, is a perfect place for an elegant, but still informal dining. Hungarian and International delicacies, draught beer, wine specialties and a rich selection of different tee brands are awaiting our dear Guests.

 

The Normafa Grill - located at the street side - is one of the most popular restaurants of the  Buda side with its original colours and its extremely wide food and beverage selection.

In summer the cosy atmosphere of our garden with playground with ancient horse-chestnut trees, and in winter time candle light and the warmth of the fire place complete the gastronomical delights.

This wonderful hill covered by forest, being the charming look out of Budapest was the most popular excursion place for the artist society of the last century. You can take nice walks to the close chair-lift and the János-hill look-out tower. Another outstanding choice for an excursion is the discovery of the Buda hills with the Children's Railway.

In the neighborhood at Csillebérc you can find Budapest's one and only Challengeland with 6 trails and 80 courses covering 3 acres.
