Papa Leone X

A nostalgic secretaire, a bordeaux-coloured sofa, dark red and gold embroidered curtains, cream-coloured walls with hand-painted murals and edgings, light-coloured stone floor with a marble emblem and a wooden monstrance give this suite a magnificent brilliance. Gold embroidered silk wallpaper in the bedroom, a golden mirror as well as an artful illumination make this suite very special.

Dark pink, cream and light green are the colours of our suite Sofia Loren, which is furnished in 60´s style. Numerous photos of Sofia Loren, coloured or black and white, spread the charm of the film star. The hazel wood floor as well as many ornate mirrors, an old suitcase with a straw hat, the yellow green white striped silk wallpaper and white furniture in the bedroom give this suite a cheerful component. This Suite is dedicated to the Venetian merchant Marco Polo, who travelled the world in his youth. As a teenager, he had already gone as far as china. Dark bamboo furniture, walnut coloured parquet floor and cream coloured walls with hand painted bordures give this suite a colonial flair. Pictures of long-distance travels, maps, exotic wall lightings, the bird cage in the corridor and the model of an ancient merchant ship let your travel fantasies come true and invite you to feel good. The lovingly themed bunk beds for the children are integrated in an alcove in the living area. These exclusive suites are located in an area which is only accessible for guests of the suites in the Coliseum arch. An elevator takes you directly to the Roman spa area "Acqua Romana" with sauna and pool.

 

 

Cesare e Cleopatra

Already when entering the suite, you will be delighted. Some steps take you to the unique, impressive living room with Roman-imperial murals. The high ceiling is decorated with stucco in magnificent colours such as red and white, blue and gold or orange and red. Light coloured wood floor in the entire suite. The living room is furnished with elegant and large, dark-brown leather furniture. An impressive, glass desk is located in front of the high semicircular windows and as a highlight you will find a music bathtub in an alcove. The suite "Cesare e Cleopatra" features two exquisite bedrooms with separate bathrooms (mosaic shower), two balconies, view over the pool, the Vosges, the "Kaiserstuhl" mountain and the Black Forest, mini-bar, air-conditioned, for 4 persons.
